What is a PE Twist Tie (Flat Wire)?

A flexible polyethylene-coated flat strip containing one or two low-carbon galvanized steel wires. PE provides a soft, low-odor, food-contact friendly surface—ideal for bakery and produce bag closures.

Why PE (vs. PVC or round wire)?

• Softer touch & low odor suitable for food packaging.
• Flat strip grips bags better and is easier to twist than round wire.
• Single/Double core lets you choose between flexibility and higher holding force.

• Core: 1× or 2× galvanized steel (typ. Ø 0.35–0.60 mm each)
• Strip Width: 3.5 / 5 / 6 / 8 mm • Thickness: 0.3–0.8 mm
• Forms: Pre-cut 8 / 10 / 12 / 15 / 20 cm • Spools 500–3,000 m (or 5–15 kg)
• Colors: White, Yellow, Red, Black (custom colors or logo print on request)
• Packing: Boxed pre-cuts or labeled spools; palletized for export

How to Order

Core (Single/Double) + Width + Form (Pre-cut length or Spool length/weight) + Color + Quantity. Example: Double core, 5 mm, pre-cut 15 cm, white, 100,000 pcs or Single core, 6 mm, spool 1,500 m, red, 200 spools.
